WORKSHOP IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC FINANCES IN HEALTH
This week, AO HOMECARE organized, a workshop on public finances in health for deputies and officials of the Parliament.
Ms. Diana Grosu-Axenti, trainer, expert in public finance, introduced participation models in health financing, the structure and particularities of the management of mandatory healthcare insurance funds, the strategic procurement of medical services, the concept of universal health coverage and other indicators regarding monitoring of public financing in health.
“As every year, deputies vote the Law on the State Budget and the Law on Mandatory Healthcare Insurance Funds, it is important that the decisions made regarding the financial resources for the health sector are reasoned and based on the needs of the population,” says Diana Grosu-Axenti.
The workshop was organized within the project “Equity in health through social responsibility” is implemented by the Swiss Red Cross in partnership with AO HOMECARE and AO CASMED and is financed by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation
