WHAT FOLLOWS AFTER CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS END?

Christmas is undoubtedly the most beautiful holiday of the year. The joy of a new beginning creates a real magic around this holiday, accompanied by decorated trees, presents, Santa and caroling children. But what follows after Christmas holidays end? And do they end? Does the magic, or rather, the goodness of this special holiday disappear? It depends on how we want to treat and understand Christmas.

For Diecézní charita BRNO in the Czech Republic, Christmas is “a continuous present” that is experienced at all times. Do you remember Christmas carols, children coming to announce the birth of the Jesus? Little ones and grown-ups from Diecézní charita BRNO, through collective effort, collect funds to support an old people’s home in the Republic of Moldova. This is their Christmas tradition. In that magic evening, a whole community feels they need to share what they have with people in need. Thanks to this tradition, inspired by the kind-hearted Oldřich Haičman joined by his team, the Hippocrates Medical-Social Center in Doroțaia village, Dubăsari district, has been financially supported for 16 years. 2 nurseshave been working  in the center from Doroțaia; Soltan Galina and Diordiev Valentina. They are the ones whov have been helping the elderly and the needy. And all this thanks to Diecézní BRNO.

It is the ultimate joy to be able to help people like you. It is the pleasure of seeing a man smile after a hard work. This is the real magic. The Magic of Happiness.
