THE PREMIER OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC, PETER FIALA, HAS VISITED DOROTCAIA.

The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Peter Fiala, who has participated in the summit of the European Political Community, organised in Moldova, visited on Friday, June 2, together with the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Alexei Buzu, the “Hippocrates” medico-social center in the village of Doroțcaia. Prime Minister Fiala was accompanied by HE the Czech ambassador to Chisinau, Stanislav Kazecky.

The delegation has been willing to learn about the implementation of the the social and humanitarian assistance projects financed by the Government in Prague. Tamara Adașan, the director of “Homecare”, the non-governmental organization that ensures the implementation of projects aimed at developing medico-social centers, presented the work of the Doroțcaia center and described the advantages for the population of such a service.

Tamara Adașan stated that the project financed by the Czech Government required the development of policies and regulations at the national level, which changed the system of social assistance at home, in the Republic of Moldova.

Homecare currently manages centers funded by the Czech Government and plans to open two more in the near future. As a sign of high appreciation, Tamara Adașan handed the Prime Minister, Peter Fiala, a letter of gratitude expressing high appreciation to the Government of the Czech Republic for the financial assistance granted to the Republic of Moldova in support of medical and social programs.

“We would like to thank you especially for the help provided in terms of increasing the quality of life of the socially vulnerable, by offering advanced professional services for lonely and disabled people at their homes, including for the sick dependent on the care of others. The assistance of the Government of the Czech Republic is extremely valuable for the medical and social assistance system in Moldova. In particular, it has an important role in strengthening the capacities of our medico-social service providers and in increasing the quality of care through permanent adaptation to the needs of our population”.

Tamara Adașan also expressed thanks to the Czech Embassy in Chisinau and HE, Mr. Ambassador, Stanislav Kazecky. Likewise, the financial support of Caritas Czech Republic and “Diecézní charita Brno”, provided for two decades, was highly appreciated.

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Alexei Buzu, thanked the head of the cabinet in Prague for the support of the Czech Republic to social services in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the Czech Embassy in Chisinau for the support offered to the center from the very beginning. The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Peter Fiala, thanked the AO “Homecare” team for their dedication, hard work, responsibility and for promoting the good name of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Moldova.
