THE PLACEMENT CENTER OF THE ZABRICENI MONASTERY HAS BEEN REPAIRED

Immediately after the Easter holidays, repair work began at the Placement Center within the Zabriceni monastery (hereinafter the Center). The center is built on the basis of the existing building of the Zabriceni monastery, which currently serves as a dormitory. The cosmetic repair, the provision of new furniture and the provision of appliances necessary to ensure adequate hygiene conditions are one of the priority objectives of the Project.

At the same time, in April, remote consultations of specialist doctors were started through the “Telemedicine” electronic platform. Thus, 8 patients from the Center benefited from consultations with specialist doctors, assisted by the employees of the “Sfântă Iuliana” Medical-Social Center, from the village. Taul, Dondușeni district.

The project “Organization of a Placement Center for vulnerable people seeking help and shelter at the Zabriceni monastery, including Ukrainian refugees” is financed by the Visegrád International Fund and implemented by the “Homecare” Public Association in partnership with the Czech Embassy in the Republic of Moldova and the “Family” Public Association Rural “. After the completion of the project (31.01.2024), the maintenance expenses of the Center will be covered by the Zabriceni monastery.
