SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS IN THE RENOVATION OF THE PLACEMENT CENTER
Renovation of the Center for Vulnerable People is a Significant Step towards Assistance and Shelter at Zăbriceni Monastery
Renovation of the Center for vulnerable individuals, including Ukrainian refugees, is progressing steadily. The project objectives are being met within the set timeframe, and the results are noteworthy.
In the first two months of summer, the interior has been significantly refurbished – electrical network and engineering systems were replaced, plaster, floors, and ceilings were finished, double-glazed windows and doors were installed for thermal efficiency. New beds, orthopedic mattresses, and comfortable beddings will be purchased. Additionally, the center’s beneficiaries will receive detergents and hygiene products to ensure a clean and safe environment.
At the same time, remote medical consultations continue to be provided through the “Telemedicine” electronic platform. Since the beginning of the project, specialized doctors, assisted by the staff of the “Sfânta Iuliana” Medico-Social Center in the village of Țaul, Dondușeni district, have conducted 66 consultations for the center’s beneficiaries. Furthermore, the shelter center was supplied with necessary medications and consumables for patient care.
The project “Establishment of a Placement Center for Vulnerable Individuals Seeking Assistance and Shelter at Zăbriceni Monastery, including Ukrainian refugees” is funded by the Visegrád International Fund and implemented by the “Homecare” Association in partnership with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the Republic of Moldova and the “Rural Family” Association. After the project’s completion (January 31, 2024), the maintenance expenses of the Center will be covered by #Zăbriceni Monastery.
The project is aimed to provide a safe environment and optimal living conditions for vulnerable individuals, ensuring they feel supported and protected. We are delighted to stand by these individuals and bring positive changes to their lives.
