Parliamentarians Engage in Strengthening Medical Legislation

The members of the Parliamentary Committee for Social Protection, Health, and Family convened for their second training and mentorship session focused on the adoption of Mandatory Health Insurance Funds Law. Officials had the chance to meticulously examine aspects concerning the structure of Mandatory Health Insurance Funds, methodologies for calculating and establishing premiums, as well as the beneficiaries involved in this vital healthcare insurance system.

These sessions are an integral component of the “Equity in Health through Social Responsibility” project initiated and implemented by the Swiss Red Cross in collaboration with the Civic Association “CASMED” and the Civic Association “HOMECARE.” Funded by the Swiss Government, the primary objective of this project is to fortify and enhance the mandatory healthcare insurance system.
