Managers and officials responsible for implementing integrity policies within public healthcare institutions participated today in the workshop entitled “Ensuring Institutional Integrity Measures,” held in Chișinău as part of the public awareness and information campaign “Integrity for Health.”
The event was organized pursuant to the Order of the Ministry of Health of 6 February 2026 and was conducted within the framework of the project “Equity in Health through Social Accountability II.” The project is implemented by the Swiss Red Cross in partnership with AO CASMED and AO HOMECARE, with financial support from the Government of Switzerland.

The program included in-depth thematic sessions addressing the relevant legal framework, integrity policies, the prevention and reporting of corruption, the legal regime governing asset and personal interest declarations, conflict-of-interest management, the regulation of gifts, and the promotion of transparency in decision-making processes.
The training was delivered by Natalia Cheptea, officer of the National Anticorruption Center (NAC). During the opening session, representatives of partner organizations delivered welcoming remarks and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a culture of integrity within the healthcare sector.
Zinaida Bezverhni, Representative of the Swiss Cooperation Office, outlined the key projects supported by Switzerland in the Republic of Moldova and emphasized the importance of promoting social accountability mechanisms.
