Czech Visit in Support of the Transnistrian Population

The Homecare Public Association had the honor of receiving today the visit of Mr. Petr Gandalovič – Head of the Department for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic – and Mr. Jaromír Plíšek, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Moldova, as well as Ms. Barbora Žáčková, Counselor for Development and Economic Affairs at the Czech Embassy in Chișinău.

We would like to remind that Homecare is implementing the project “Support for the Population Affected by the Energy Crisis in Transnistria”, with financial support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and the Czech Embassy in Chișinău. The official visit took place in this context and included the medico-social centers Hippocrates in the village of Doroțcaia and Zabota in the town of Grigoriopol – institutions that will benefit from goods and services provided under the mentioned project.

The project aims to support vulnerable groups in the Transnistrian region affected by rising energy prices, by providing energy-efficient heating equipment, hygiene materials, bedding sets, blankets and pillows, generators, washing and drying machines, and by carrying out repairs at the Hippocrates medico-social care center.
